Fellow Republican,

Congratulations! You have been elected to represent your County as a Delegate or Alternate Delegate to the 4th Congressional District Republican Convention on Saturday, May 15, 2021.

There will be a Delegate and Alternate Fee of $40.00 for those who Pre-Register ($45.00 for Walk-In Registration) for this year’s Convention (plus EventBrite pass-through fees), which is used to cover the expenses of the Convention.  Any Delegate or Alternate unable to pay the fee may request a waiver which will be reviewed by the Credentials Committee to determine whether to grant the request. In accordance with Executive Order 03.31.21.03 relating to Conventions, pre-registration and payment of fees online is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED in order to limit waiting in long lines and confusion the day of the convention.  Pre-registration is now open and will close promptly at 6:00 PM, Thursday, May 13, 2021.  Payment not received by this time will be accepted at registration.  No one is allowed entry without payment.

The purpose of the 2021 District Convention is to elect officers for the 2021-2021 term and conduct other necessary business. The District Convention will also elect five (5) members of the State Committee of the Georgia Republican Party.

The Nominating Committee will not meet the day of the convention. Nominations will not be accepted from the floor of the convention for anyone not meeting with the Nominating Committee.

The deadline for submitting proposed resolutions to the Resolutions Committee is not later than the close of business April 9, 2021.  Resolutions should be no more than 250 words in length and must be submitted in editable electronic format. The committee will not re-write or correct anything other than minor grammar or spelling errors and may reject any resolution requiring such edits.  Resolutions which contain any assertion of fact must be accompanied by sufficient documentation to allow the Resolutions Committee to verify the accuracy of any such assertions.  No resolutions will be considered that are submitted from individuals outside the 4th District. No resolutions shall be considered from the floor after the Resolutions Committee has presented its report.
