BARKSDALE STAFFER GIVES SHOCKING PEEK INTO CANDIDATE'S RADICAL IDEOLOGY
(Atlanta, GA) - Over the weekend, a senior staffer for liberal moneyman Jim Barksdale affirmed the candidate's support of Barack Obama's highly controversial Iran Deal while doubling down on Barksdale's refusal to ever use military force - even if Iran reneges by developing nuclear weapons.
"With weak-kneed policies that embolden our enemies and threaten the safety and security of American families, it's no surprise that Jim Barksdale is having a difficult time building support around the state," said Georgia Republican Party spokesman Ryan Mahoney. "Barksdale's radical, left-wing ideology belongs in California - not Georgia."
"Georgians want smart foreign policy that protects our interests at home and abroad. Barksdale's plan simply pumps billions of dollars back into Iran's economy while providing no accountability measures to ensure compliance. Barksdale believes - like President Obama - that befriending the enemies of our allies will slow nuclear proliferation. That assertion is equal parts reckless and naïve.
"Now, more than ever, we need bold leaders with a backbone - not pacifists with gimmicky hats - who will do whatever it takes to destroy ISIS, discipline human rights violators, and strengthen our standing abroad. Clearly, Jim Barksdale is not the man for the job."
